Kornati National Park is the most popular and the most beautiful Adriatic archipelago including 89 islands, islets and rocks with approximately 238 km of coastline, often called “nautical paradise”. Kornati Islands are known for theirs remarkable landscape beauty, fascinating geomorphology, indented coastline and rich biodiversity of the marine ecosystem.
The trip to KORNATI National Park looks like this:
The departing point is at 8 am from Borik Marina in the tourist area of Zadar, and the returning point as at 6 pm to the same location. Our program is different from all the others with the fact that all of our activities take place inside the area of the Kornati National Park. We will also visit the island of Mana, where we have about 2 hours long break for swimming and snorkeling. On the same island, there is an old cinematographic colony, where you can make exquisite photos, and take in a breathtaking panorama of Kornati Islands.
After the break, we go back by a different route to the Captain’s House, next to the island of Kornat. From the ship, you can see a small church from the 13th century, and the tower of Toreta from the 10th century. Captain’s House is located on the island of Kornat in a small local community of only 7 fishermen houses. Wonderful harmony and peace covers that area, for none of the other ships comes there. We organize lunch in Captain’s house, which lays in shade of centennial olive trees. Ambient is fantastic.
For a main meal, we serve fish and fried meat, mixed salad and fruits for a dessert. Wine that is served during the entire day is made in the basement of our Captain. It is very fine and good quality. Sodas and other soft drinks are served as well.
The price for the excursion with the breakfast on board, lunch and refreshments; and the purchased ticket to the NP is 50€ for adults. Children under 5 are free of any charges, and children between the age of 5 and 12 pay only half of the price.
