What makes Biograd perhaps the most famous, next to national parks and beautiful beaches, is Marina Kornati. 1974 Ilirija d.d. first built a nautical port, which was then the first nautical port in Croatia. Very soon, Biograd became the center of nautical tourism on the Adriatic, which attracted more and more nautical lovers every year. Due to the great interest and importance of nautical tourism, Ilirija d.d. in 1985 it was decided to expand the capacity of the hotel port by building the Marina Kornati in the western part of Biograd.
The marina is equipped with state of the art technology and meets all the requirements of international standards. It can be said that environmental protection is one of the highest priorities of the marina. In addition, Marina Kornati has an exceptional service center and excellent catering facilities.
